The NeMo project, which aims to facilitate the wide scale deployment of electromobility in the road transport sector (take-up of electric vehicles and associated services), started in October 2016. This EU-supported (Horizon 2020) project will tackle some of the key barriers currently associated with electric vehicles.

NeMo will build a Hyper-network of tools, models and services to provide seamless interoperability of electromobility services among all relevant actors. This network will focus on energy management, security and availability, and on reducing digital and physical barriers by making backend data and services accessible to the right actors. Towards the end of the project, a cross-country interoperable electric charging demonstration will take place, with participating vehicles travelling through five European countries.

Stakeholder Forum

So that NeMo reaches out to the right actors and produces outputs that are useful  to stakeholders and enable the project’s goals (and wider electromobility goals) to be met, we are establishing a Stakeholder Forum, which all interested parties are invited to join.

The Stakeholder Forum will engage companies, associations, authorities and other actors outside the NeMo project consortium to exchange information, experience, feedback and best practice.

Interested parties may include electric vehicle manufacturers, fleet operators, charge point operators, road infrastructure operators, public authorities, electrical distribution system operators, service providers and other bodies involved in, or interested in electromobility. This also includes academics, researchers, students and the media.

By registering to the Forum you will be invited to briefly outline your main interests in this topic and also any other relevant European or national projects covering e-mobility in which you are involved.

NeMo will organise an annual Stakeholder Forum meeting as well as a headline Final Event in 2019. Forum members will be invited to all of these, as well as notified of other events in which NeMo will be involved (conference presentations, discussion sessions, etc.)

You can also join the LinkedIn group LinkedIn NeMo_Electro and/or follow us on Twitter @NeMo_Electro).

We look forward to having you on board.
