ITS United Kingdom, the Intelligent Transport Systems association for the UK, held its 2014 AGM in Solihull as the guests of ITS (UK) Members TRW Conekt on 7 May.  Sharon Kindleysides of Kapsch and Dr Alan Stevens of TRL were re-elected as Chairman and Vice Chair respectively.  The Directors of ITS (UK) for 2014 / 2015 are:

Technical Director – Joanne Dodds, URS

International Director – Richard Harris, Xerox

Finance Director – Gary Umpleby, Hogia

Membership Director – Graeme Scott, IBI Group

Communications Director – Giles Perkins, Mouchel

Prof Eric Sampson CBE of Newcastle University continues as Ambassador for ITS (UK).

Sharon Kindleysides heads up Kapsch’s UK office and is one of the UK’s leading road tolling experts.  She served a first term as Chairman of ITS (UK) 2013-14.  On being re-elected, Sharon commented “I am delighted to have been re-elected. ITS (UK) is a world leading source of knowledge about all things ITS related and I am looking forward to the exciting activities and events of has planned for the year ahead!”
