For the fourth time, TISA will be present at an ITS World Congress, the second hosted in the USA. If you are attending ITS Detroit, come to visit TISA at the European Pavilion (booth 2015) to meet and chat with the TISA President and the Executive Office.
On 8 September at 11:00 (EDT), TISA is working on hosting a live video session at the European Pavilion with the IFA Consumer Electronics Show in Berlin where a discussion between high level representatives of TISA in Detroit and German counterparts, including Dorothee Bär (State Secretary of German Transport Ministry), will take place. During this time, the German government will make an announcement on the introduction of TPEGTM via Digital Radio and the free provision of “End of jam” Information.
On 10 September, TISA organised a special session titled TPEGTM Traffic Services Worldwide (SIS38). This session will provide non-TISA Members with an overview of TPEGTM applications already standardised, as well as detailed information of how to engage in currently ongoing development and standardisation work within TISA.
Finally, TISA President Thomas Kusche will speak during the special session Data, Directives and Regulations: How Crowd Sourced Data is Helping Agencies Meet New Rules (SIS64) on Wednesday 10 September.
