SUMMARY:International Conference “Smart Cities and Mobility as a Service”
DESCRIPTION:The University of Patras\, Department of Civil Engineering\, in cooperation with ITS Hellas and with the support of the Hellenic Institute of Transportation Engineers are organizing the “Smart Cities and Mobility as a Service” International Conference. \nSmart cities use digital technologies to enhance performance and wellbeing\, to reduce costs and resource consumption\, and to engage more effectively and actively with its citizens. The value of these cities lies in the ability to collect and combine three types of intelligence: the human of the population\, the collective of the innovation institutions and the artificial of the digital networks and applications. \nMobility as a Service (MaaS) describes mobility opportunities and solutions that are consumed as a service\, shifting away from personally owned modes of transportation. MaaS combines mobility services from public and private transportation providers. A unified platform creates and manages the trips available to the users\, through a single account. MaaS offers mobility solutions based on need both for travelers and goods. \nWithin the framework of Smart Cities and Mobility as a Service\, the Conference is an opportunity for industry\, public organizations\, local government and authorities\, universities\, researchers\, consultants\, constructors and freelancers to exchange views on arising problems and solutions. \nYou could participate in the International Conference and present your scientific work on specific topics.
