DESCRIPTION:The 3rd eCall TESTFEST event\, organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe and ETSI\, will be held from 27 to 31 October 2014 in Vigo\, Spain. This event will be hosted by CTAG in cooperation with CETECOM. \nAt the eCall TESTFEST event last year\, more than 30 vendors benefited from more than 300 test sessions to check the interoperability of their IVS or PSAP devices. With eCall now coming closer to the market\, verifying the eCall chain and in particular the compliancy to eCall standard requirements through different means of test is critical. This third eCall TESTFEST event is a unique opportunity to check your eCall implementation confidently against other devices and eCall standards requirements. \nThe eCall TESTFEST event enables vendors to run interoperability test sessions using test descriptions provided in approved guidlines. The event will bring more value with the debriefing sessions where experts can answer technical questions or solve interoperability issues. SUMMARY:EU – Tatarstan Cooperation on ITS
DESCRIPTION:Earlier this year the Ministry of Information & Communication Technologies from Tatarstan\, Russia\, joined the ERTICO Partnership together with Inspectra\, a private ITS company. The reason was to learn from the ERTICO Partnership how different ITS solutions could be implemented as effectively as possible.  \nTogether with Tatarstan stakeholders from the ITS Community we have identified three topics\, which are of highest priority in Tatarstan: \n· eCall / ERA GLONASS implementation \n· C-ITS – V2X communication and the services this would provide; \n· Building a mutual educational ITS platform between Russia and Europe. \nTo facilitate the set-up of potential collaboration in Tatarstan\, ERTICO – ITS Europe and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies and Inspectra would like to invite the ERTICO Partners to actively participate in a workshop to be held in the capital Kazan 15-16th October 2014. \nHowever before we finalise the logistics around this workshop we would like you to express your interest in participating. SUMMARY:iMobility  Challenge Vehicle Technology demonstrations
DESCRIPTION:Barcelona\, Spain \n9 to 14 October \nThe iMobility Challenge project is planning its biggest yearly event in Barcelona\, Spain\, on the 9th of October. The event will take place at the FCB stadium and will have the following audiences: \n– Professionals/decision-makers: there will be a high-level workshop about intelligent vehicle technologies inside the stadium.General public: vehicle technology demonstrations will be offered to the public attendants and the workshop delegates on the stadium’s car parc. \n– VIPs will include FIA President Jean Todt\, an EU Commissioner\, and celebrity drivers from the motor sports. There will also be a lot of media attention. \nThe project is looking for exhibitors/demonstrators for the event. Gabriel Simcic can also provide additional information upon request. \nAbout the iMobility Challenge: \niMobility Challenge\, is an EU funded project by DG Connect of the European Commission to demonstrate the benefits of efficient\, safe and smart mobility through new Intelligent Transport System (ITS) solutions.
