SUMMARY:Get to know NAPCORE with this virtual event
DESCRIPTION:Last year\, ERTICO’s TN-ITS innovation platform was granted a major CEF European project award called NAPCORE. The TN-ITS platform develops\, maintains\, supports and deploys the TN-ITS map data update exchange standard\, linking authoritative and regulatory data\, originating by the road authorities to service providers such as digital map makers. The platform focuses on digital map updates and advancing state-of-the-art mobility applications like ISA (Intelligent Speed Assistance). In the future\, the regulatory data will address automated mobility and transport applications. \nTN-ITS services are already taking place in 14 Member States.  NAPCORE creates lots of opportunities for ERTICO’s partnership for a closer engagement with EU Member States\, regional and city authorities\, building further on ERTICO’s City Moonshot and co-operation in other innovation platforms such as MaaS and TM2.0. \nCreated and co-financed as a Programme Support Action by the Connecting Europe Facility of the European Union\, NAPCORE  (National Access Point Coordination Organisation for Europe) aims to coordinate and harmonise all European National Access Points (NAPs) for mobility data. NAPCORE’s goal is to optimise interoperability of NAPs as mobility data platforms through common data standards\, improve access and availability of mobility data throughout Europe\, and strengthen NAPs and National Bodies through common processes and strategies. NAPCORE covers all EU Member States\, and beyond\, with its 70 partners and implementing bodies and three associated partners working to improve interoperability and data availability in the mobility domain in Europe. \nTo give everyone the chance to get to know NAPCORE\, learn what the project is currently working on and what it will accomplish in the near future\, the NAPCORE consortium is hosting a virtual public event on 18 February 9:00-10:00 CET. Registrations are open here. \nThis virtual public event introduces the project and outlines how NAPCORE will support steps towards the creation of European-wide solutions to better facilitate the use of EU-wide data. The event specifically targets interested European mobility data users and stakeholders\, stakeholder groups and associations. \nAgenda: \n• Setting-the-scene: NAPCORE from the EU Commission’s viewpoint\nKristian Hedberg\, Head of Unit B4 at DG MOVE\, European Commission \n• The NAPCORE Steering Committee\nAnna Johansson Jacques\, NAPCORE Steering Committee Chair\, Swedish Transport Administration\, Sweden \n• General Overview of NAPCORE\, its vision and strategy\nTimo Hoffmann\, NAPCORE General Secretary\, Federal Highway Research Institute\, Germany \n• NAP interoperability\, data content and accessibility\nMaria Stavara\, NAPCORE WG3 lead\, Center for Research and Technology Hellas\, Greece \n• NAPCORE-led mobility data exchange standard harmonisation\nBard de Vries\, NAPCORE SWG 4.1 lead\, National Road Traffic Data Portal\, The Netherlands \n• National Bodies harmonisation and NAPCORE Advisory Board\nDamaris Gruber\, NAPCORE Deputy General Secretary\, AustriaTech\, Austria \n• Q & A session \nClick here to register to the event

SUMMARY:5G-MOBIX Webinar: Chinese trial site results and lessons learnt on 5G for CAM
DESCRIPTION:5G-MOBIX trial sites include two Cross-Border Corridors (Greece-Turkey and Spain-Portugal) and six local Trial Sites in France\, Germany\, Netherlands\, Finland\, China and South Korea\, which are bringing complementary insights to the cross-border issues trialled at the Corridors. Together\, they have been assessing the added value of 5G connectivity for connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) services and functionalities in cross-border conditions. \nThe local Trial Sites have completed their work\, some public demonstration events were organised to showcase the results\, and these Trial Sites are now holding “catch-up” online sessions for wider audiences during which videos of the demonstrations and/ or trials will be played and commented. \nThe webinar for the Chinese Trial Site will take place on 8 July 2022\, 09:30-11:00 CET (details & registration). \nThe 5G-MOBIX project trials have been assessing the added value of 5G connectivity for connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) services and functionalities in cross-border conditions. 5G-MOBIX trial sites include two Cross-Border Corridors (Greece-Turkey and Spain-Portugal) and six local Trial Sites in France\, Germany\, Netherlands\, Finland\, China and South Korea (bringing complementary insights to the cross-border issues trialled at the Corridors). \nThe Chinese Trial Site is holding a webinar on Friday 8 July 2022 to present the outcome of their trials and the results obtained. \nThis webinar will present the China Trial Site contributions and trial results testing 5G service continuity solutions for the different user stories concerning remote driving with data ownership focus\, cloud-assisted advanced driving and cloud-assisted platooning. The trials have been conducted using one dedicated 5G MEC cloud server and two PLMNs for adequate vehicle-to-network connectivity and exploiting 5G features to provide lower end-to-end latency and greater bandwidth for use cases. \nThe webinar will also include a presentation of the recorded video footage of the tested solutions and a Q&A session to exhaust all questions on our experts’ work and lessons learnt. More information and registration details can be found here. \nRecordings and presentations from the previous webinars are available here.
