This high-level event\, hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with support from the World Bank\, will convene global leaders to address the evolving challenges and opportunities in international transport connectivity. \nAs a distinguished contributor\, ERTICO will present its insights on the latest trends and challenges in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)\, highlighting innovation in smart mobility and sustainable transport solutions. The interventions\, represented by Chariman\, Dr Angelos Amditis and CEO Joost Vantomme will reflect the breadth of ERTICO’s activities across sectors and stakeholders\, ranging from connected and automated mobility to data sharing\, digital infrastructure\, and clean transport technologies. \nWe are also proud to emphasise the strong links between ERTICO and Türkiye: both the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (MoTi) and the Municipality of Istanbul are valued members of the ERTICO Partnership. This connection underscores our shared commitment to smarter\, more sustainable urban and regional transport networks – and this will come to life next year at the 17th ITS European Congress which is set to be held in Istanbul from 27–29 April 2026\, organised in cooperation with MoTi\, IMM\, Isbak\, and ITS Türkiye. SUMMARY:International Symposium: Navigating the Future of Traffic Management
DESCRIPTION:Registrations for the International Symposium “Navigating the Future of Traffic Management” is now open.  \nA a premier event which brings together managers\, traffic engineers\, practitioners\, and researchers from around the globe\, the  city of Athens from 29 June to 3 July\, the symposium will serve as a dynamic platform to explore and discuss innovative practices\, proven methods\, and how technologies may assist agencies in improving how they actively manage traffic on roads\, freeways\, motorways\, and tollways. \n\n\n\n\nIndustry leaders and specialists from around the globe are invited and will lead discussions on the challenges\, research needs\, innovative approaches\, and opportunities to collaborate with other agencies and service providers to improve how they actively manage and control traffic on the surface transportation system.
