It will also investigate the cross-border interoperability of these services through a separate system deployment of two distinct C-ITS systems into “Country A” and “Country B” systems. \nThis TESTFEST is open to anyone active in this field. DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 10 October 2018 from 10.00 – 14.00 BrabantStad organises an energetic seminar that focuses on serious deployment of Sustainable Urban Mobility in the Smart City. Today’s cities and regions in Europe face challenges in terms of congestion\, air quality\, noise\, livability\, lack of space\, global warming and sustainable economic development. The question is how will we move from a to b in the decades to come? The solutions that industry can offer have the potential to be a game changer and have a large impact on society and the way how we use public space. Developments in mobility are complex and highly dynamic\, meaning it is nearly impossible to accurately predict the future. What we know today is obsolete tomorrow\, so this has to be a story of learning by doing. Governments\, industry\, researchers\, citizens and all other stakeholders need to work together in living labs\, real life test beds and learning ecosystems. We need creativity and partnership. Technologies already exist\, but the added advantage and successful business cases depend on how they are integrated in user services.\nThe AUTOPILOT project is testing various use cases\, in real conditions\, at six Pilot Sites – five in the EU and one in South Korea – to prove that IoT technologies can advance automated driving. DESCRIPTION:On 14 and 15 November 2018\, the European ITS Platform (EU EIP) organizes its bi-annual European conference on traffic management\, the ITS Forum 2018. The main theme of the Forum is “Traffic Management in a changing world: Digitalization\, Multimodality\, Smart Infrastructures”. Jacob Bangsgaard\, ERTICO CEO; Johanna Tzanidaki\, Director of Innovation and Deployment (I&D) and Frank Daems\, Senior Manager(I&D) will attend the Forum in order to present the contributions of ERTICO in this domain. \nERTICO and its network members partners build and deploy a consistent ITS roadmap\, executing concrete projects through the TN-ITS\, TM2.0 and MaaS Alliance platforms. The focus of TN-ITS platform is strongly on the digitalization of public infrastructure and the mechanisms for seamless map data updates towards service providers. These mechanisms enable enhanced traffic management information streams and services to current smart digital infrastructures. The ever growing dynamics of services emerge via advanced MaaS activities that are further explored in the EU-EIP2 proposal initiative. TM 2.0 is advancing enhanced traffic management and looks at the organisational\, operational and services level.
