SUMMARY:ARTEMIS Technology Conference 2016: form the future together!
DESCRIPTION:ARTEMIS Industry Association organises the ARTEMIS Technology Conference (ATC)\, which will take place 4-6 October 2016 in Madrid\, Spain. On 5-6 October\, this event has – as the name indicates – a focus on deep technological presentations\, both on project achievements and state-of-the-art technology\, while on 4 October (starting at 12:00 hrs) and 5 October\, a Pre-Brokerage for H2020 calls for projects in the area of Embedded Intelligence will take place. \nTheme sessions\nThis 2nd edition of the ATC again contains a collection of parallel technical sessions on 5-6 October\, built around the following themes: \n\nSmart Cities\n2. Smart Energy\n3. Interoperability in CPS and IoT\n4. Future CPS industrial research challenges\n\nH2020 Pre-Brokerage\nAs the ATC takes place early October\, its timing fits perfectly into the preparation period of project proposals for the related H2020 calls\, including the ECSEL calls. Therefore\, ARTEMIS-IA has organised a Pre-Brokerage at this event on 4-5 October\, including project idea exhibition\, in which consortia from communities that face Embedded Intelligence (Embedded & Cyber-Physical Systems\, Internet of Things\, Digital Platforms) related challenges will present their ideas for new projects. If you would like to present a project idea\, please use the Project Idea Tool. \nRegistration\nRegistration for the event is now open. Make use of the opportunity to discuss Embedded Intelligence related technological innovations and challenges\, shake hands with key players in industry\, R&I and knowledge centres\, get first-hand information about new H2020 project ideas and even join these project consortia. In short: do not miss out on this important event and register today! \nMore information about the event\, programme and hotel can be found on the ARTEMIS Technology Conference webpage.

SUMMARY:The European Transport Conference
DESCRIPTION:The European Transport Conference is the focus of the activities of the Association for European Transport and is the key annual event for European transport practitioners and researchers. The Conference is a “meeting of minds”\, where transport professionals come together to keep up-to-date with policy issues\, research findings and best practice across a broad spectrum of transport. Papers are presented by active professionals\, selected by the most respected members of the transport profession in Europe. \nUniquely in Europe\, the Conference provides a forum for the coming together of research\, policy and practice in transport. The Association is committed to providing a meeting place for transport practitioners and researchers from all parts of the world\, from new entrants to the profession to established senior figures. \nIf you come to the Conference\, it may be to present a paper or to listen to others but you will find yourself in the midst of an expanding network of professionals who are committed to a common cause of understanding the transport agenda to be tackled in Europe and its neighbouring countries. The key importance of networking is reflected in the Conference structure\, which provides ample opportunities for informal discussions and social meetings. \nEach year\, the Conference attracts new delegates who find that it is a unique event in Europe\, where they can find in-depth presentations on policy issues\, research findings and best practice across a broad spectrum of transport modes. Equally\, about one third of delegates come every year – confirmation of the quality technical and policy papers and the overall excellent value for money of attendance. Market research consistently rates highly the value for money offered by the Conference. \nThe organisational structure of the conference encourages participation in Programme Committees – seen by many AET members as an important networking and professional development opportunity. \nFor more details\, please go to the website. \n
