SUMMARY:European Commission's stakeholder workshop for C-ITS
DESCRIPTION:Background information: On 30 November 2016\, the European Commission adopted its European strategy on Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems\, an important milestone towards cooperative\, connected and automated mobility. \nThe need for legal certainty in this matter led to the preparation of a delegated regulation on C-ITS to add or amend aspects to the ITS Directive 2010/40/EU. The European Commission is therefore organising a dedicated stakeholder workshop with the aim of gathering specific information and data\, as well as gathering views and suggestions from experts and stakeholders. \nThis meeting will take place on 9 February from 9:30 to 17:00 at the Borschette conference centre (room 3B)\, Rue Froissart 36\, B-1040 Brussels. \nRegistration for the workshop is available at this link and closes on Friday 26 January 2018. \nMore information is available on the Commission’s webpage.
