The Congresses are the yearly celebration of smart mobility: they underline the importance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)\, particularly in cities and regions where they are hosted and are important channels to raise awareness of smart mobility solutions among policymakers\, experts and the general public. They include live sessions where industry experts present the latest developments in ITS\, a showcase of cutting-edge technology and an exhibition space. \nThe Congresses offer stakeholders and patrons the ultimate platform to meet with industry influencers\, discuss ideas and initiatives\, make new contacts and promote their businesses by taking part in a range of activities. \nThe 2G sanitary plan\n‘Thanks to this format\, visitors to the Congress can interact more freely in a safe and secure environment\, enabling the networking that we have missed for so long. Join us for our Pre-Hackathon workshop that will take place at the ITS World Congress in Hamburg on Tuesday 12 October 2021\, 4.30 pm – 6.45 pm CET. \nThe workshop will bring together a team of world-class international\, multidisciplinary experts and offers a unique opportunity to jointly visualise\, conceptualise and develop ideas and visions for the mobility of the future. \nThe aim of this session is to develop innovative solutions to increase user acceptance and user benefit of automated mobility\, focusing on three challenges: \n• Human assistance stand-by in case of problems\n• Adapting capacity to increase in demand in a flexible way\n• Accessibility and assistance for persons with reduced mobility \nYour input will inspire our SHOW Hackathon (save already the date: 23-24-25 November\, Brussels and online)\, during which the ideas and prototype solutions gathered will be further developed and refined\, aiming for mature solutions that are ready for market and perhaps even included in one of the SHOW project’s live pilot demonstrations. \nMore info and detailed agenda are available here. \nREGISTER NOW TO JOIN US!

DESCRIPTION:ICT4CART Final Event will take place on Friday 15th October at the ITS World Congress in Hamburg\, Germany (11th-15th October)\, from 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM CET. \nDuring the final event\, the ICT4CART consortium will deliver an overview of the project and the results achieved over the last 3 years. The Consortium will also showcase the use cases analysed and the testing carried out at our different pilot sites. \nCheck out the agenda of the final event: \n \nThe ICT4CART Final Event is free of charge but participants must first be registered for the Congress (registration for the ITS World Congress) and secondly for the event here in Eventbrite (due to Covid restrictions\, spots are limited\, we encourage everyone to register in order to guarantee their spot). \nClick here and register now! \nAbout ICT4CART: \nThe ICT4CART project (funded under H2020 programme\, G.A. no 768953) aims is to design\, implement and test in real-life conditions a versatile ICT infrastructure that will enable the transition towards higher levels of automation (up to L4). In this way\, the project intends to address existing gaps and to work with specific key ICT elements\, namely hybrid connectivity\, data management\, cyber-security\, data privacy and accurate localisation. ICT4CART builds on high-value use cases (urban and highway)\, which will be demonstrated and validated in real-life conditions at the test sites.
