DESCRIPTION:The Data-Driven Urban Mobility in Europe is a virtual event taking place on Thursday\, 27 January\, from 09:00 – 5:00 pm (CET). The discussion aims to highlight the recent developments in creating a Common European Mobility Data Space. By bringing together experts from leading stakeholders in the Intelligent Transportation Service (ITS) Community\, Frank Daems\, I&D Senior Manager at ERTICO will present insights on the status of data sharing within EU cities from the ERTICO’s City Moonshot Initiative. Mr Daems is also going to highlight why and how the ITS Community and relevant stakeholders should harness cities’ intentions for sharing data and further address the insights in todays’ EU strategy on open data sharing by authorities and related systems’ topologies. \nWith the progress so far\, including policies and regulatory frameworks for data-driven smart urban mobility\, the European Commission’s country-level initiatives strive to create a mobility data space\, with key benefits\, challenges and the way forward. The conference will provide a platform for transit agencies\, governments\, cities and private companies to explore data-driven solutions for integrated multimodal transport\, ITS\, operations optimisation\, stakeholder communication through data visualisation\, network planning and high-quality customer service.
