SUMMARY:SUM Project Kick-off Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The SUM Project\, funded under the Horizon Europe umbrella\, will kick off on 19-20 June in Lille\, where consortium members will gather to exchange views and set their expectations for the project. \nThe objective of SUM is to transform current mobility networks towards innovative and novel shared mobility systems (NSM) integrated with public transport (PT) in more than 15 European Cities by 2026 reaching 30 by 2030. Intermodality\, interconnectivity\, sustainability\, safety\, and resilience are at the core of this innovation. The outcomes of the project offer affordable and reliable solutions considering the needs of all stakeholders such as end users\, private companies\, public urban authorities. \nSUM project will develop five pillars consisting of technological\, co-creation\, and policy tools to tackle the identified NSM barriers for a typical\, car-focused family.

SUMMARY:Activity Development Days: Shaping ERTICO Partnership priorities
DESCRIPTION:ERTICO brings together representatives from the entire Partnership to reaffirm the goals and future priorities in line with the implementation of the focus area roadmaps. Hosted by the Innovation and Deployment team\, the ERTICO Activity Development Days (ADD) is an exclusive annual meeting that brings together ERTICO Premium Partners to determine common innovation targets and upcoming Calls and Tenders in conjunction with the forthcoming policies and targets of the European Commission.  \nThis year’s edition is set to take place from 21 – 22 June in Brussels\, providing a unique opportunity for ERTICO Partners to convene and discuss ongoing activities as well as future initiatives.  Bringing together representatives from the eight sectors of the ERTICO Partnership is a key component for driving the smart mobility agenda forward. \nThis yearly event showcases a great example of the shared vision to advance safer\, more efficient and sustainable mobility solutions. ERTICO Premium Partners are invited to exchange ideas and align on common targets to work on building winning concepts for the upcoming Calls and Tenders of 2024. \nDriving innovation is at the very heart of ERTICO  \nThe Activity Development Days provide a multi-stakeholder platform for action\, mirroring the mission to develop\, promote and facilitate the deployment of intelligent mobility services. SUMMARY:2023 International Symposium on Freeway and Tollway Operations (ISFO)
DESCRIPTION:ERTICO’s Innovation Platform TM 2.0 is actively involved in the organisation of the 4th International Symposium on Freeway and Tollway Operations (ISFO). This important event for the traffic management community is co-organised with the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and AustriaTech and will take place from 26 to 30 June in Vienna. \nThe Symposium will bring together up to 400 experts in more than 40 workshops and sessions under the theme “Innovation advances towards the Future of Managing Traffic” to discuss the future of traffic management.
