SUMMARY:2013 EUCAR Reception and Conference
DESCRIPTION:EUCAR\, the European Council for automotive R&D\, is organising the Conference “Ready for Horizon 2020! The strategic pillars of automotive research & innovation” in Brussels. \nAt the Conference\, after an introduction from the EUCAR Chairman\, three sessions will focus on the EUCAR Strategic Pillars: “Safe & Integrated Mobility”; “Sustainable Propulsion”; and “Affordability & Competitiveness”. \nEach Pillar will be illustrated by an overview of the challenges and opportunities from a EUCAR Council member\, presentation of a key R&I project\, followed by discussion of the future framework and strategies for research with senior policymakers and stakeholders in European R&I. These will be followed by a panel discussion on Horizon 2020. \nThe draft programme can be downloaded here.
