SUMMARY:New 5G Core Technologies Innovation Projects
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will present the new 5G Core Technologies projects joining the 5G-PPP to accelerate innovation in the development and take up of 5G. The projects started in the second half of 2020 and are already developing exciting advances in 5G. The webinar will run in two parts\, where four projects will present in each part\, with a short introduction from the European Commission and the 5G IA to start. Amongst others\, ERTICO projects 5G LOGINNOV and 5G META (coordinated by VICOMTECH)\, started in September 2020\, will present their ongoing work and progresses so far. \nThese projects were selected for funding under the 5G-PPP ICT-42-2020 call: 5G-PPP 5G Core Technologies innovation. \nRegister here.

DESCRIPTION:The European Truck Platooning Challenge (ETPC) community will virtually meet on 20 January to discuss the latest news on Truck Platooning and developments; held twice a year\, the ETPC meetings bring together stakeholders and foster the exchange of information on and promote the market uptake of truck platooning. This virtual meeting will focus on the current developments of platooning in Europe\, presenting the European project ENSEMBLE and ERTICO’s involvement and activities in the field of automation and platooning and the project AEROFLEX which is working to develop and demonstrate new technologies\, concepts and architectures for complete vehicles with optimised aerodynamics\, powertrains and safety systems. \nA look on overseas deployments will be provided by Richard Bishop\, who will share the latest news from the USA.
