SUMMARY:High-level conference on clean mobility
DESCRIPTION:This high-level conference\, organised by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)\, in cooperation with Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB)\, aims to reflect all the recent developments in the transport sector and the European civil society response to the ongoing ‘Europe on the Move’ mobility packages (European Commission initiative). \nThe objective of the conference is to stimulate an open dialogue between civil society organisations\, stakeholders\, experts\, and senior-level representatives of EU institutions and Member States about the progress made\, and to identify current and future challenges in European transport policy and the next steps to be taken. \nThe conference will begin with keynote speeches by high-level policymakers and civil society representatives\, followed by three sessions which will give participants an opportunity to take part in in‑depth discussions on: \n\nintermodality and corridors\ngreen mobility\nfuture challenges\n\nMore information on the event
