iCar Support published the annual eCall Newsletter 2012. In this issue Wolfgang Reinhardt (ACEA) shared his thoughts on the eCall and described what it is needed for the deployment of eCall. From the legislation point of view the Newsletter highlights the actions taken by the European Parliament and Commission. We also report on the First International HeERO Conference that took place in Zagreb on 15 November. Last but not least HeERO 2 has been announced and will start in January 2013.
