The number of Belgians travelling by car to get to work has dropped over the last decade, according to a new mobility study.
The Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport surveyed all employers in Belgium with more than 100 workers to ask them about their employees’ commuting habits.
The results show the most popular transport for commuters remains the car, responsible for 66.6 per cent of trips.
However, between 2005 and 2014, the use of cars and motorcycles fell by 4.9 per cent.
