The CityMobil2 final conference took place on 1 and 2 June 2016 in the city of Donostia / San Sebastián (Spain), which hosted a CityMobil2 demonstration at this time.
After four years of dedicated work, the CityMobil2 held a final conference to showcase and share the results of the project that demonstrated the use of fully automated transport systems in 7 town and cities across Europe.
The two-day event featured an overview on the demonstration sites as well as address the lessons learnt, challenges faced and areas for improvement. The second day continued with presentations on VRUs relation to automation as well as featuring the EC perspective on road automation.
