After the UDRIVE Core Group meeting on 16-17 June 2016, our 2017 calendar has been marked with many exciting events!
Both online and face to face, there will be many opportunities for stakeholders to see with their own eyes what UDRIVE partners have been doing, and what have been the output of their research work and analysis. The preparations are now under way, so keep an eye on the website to learn when, where and what to expect!
For now, we can anticipate that we will offer two webinars with a focus on the preliminary results of this first large-scale naturalistic driving study carried out in Europe. They will be organised in late January/ early February and will be (naturally!) accessible free of charge.
We will also go local in 2017! Six regional workshops will be organised where UDRIVE Operation Sites are located. The workshops will take place in Leeds (UK), Braunshweig (Germany), Warsaw (IBDiM), The Hague (The Netherlands), Spain and France (location to be confirmed). They will be held in April 2017 and will be conducted in the countries’ national language. At this half a day meetings we will present UDRIVE, its methodology and preliminary results. What is more interesting, we will give information about exploitation opportunities of the UDRIVE Database after the project!
Finally, we are working in the organisation of the UDRIVE final conference which will be a ‘must go’ event for NDS stakeholders in Europe and abroad. It will be held at the end of Spring 2017. We will keep you posted!
