The Conference aims to gather together the scientific, policy making and business communities in Europe and worldwide to discuss themes and instruments to promote future international cooperation in the field of Transport.

EUTRAIN (European Transport Research Area International Cooperation activities), is an FP7 project funded by DG RTD, which has developed a number of recommendations and best practice reviews on key issues of international cooperation, including:

• Programming and governance issues
• Research Infrastructures
• Training and human resource issues
• IP regimes
• Pre-standardisation activities
