ADASIS and ERTICO Partners TomTom and Bosch team up to deliver Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The two companies have announced this week a partnership to integrate TomTom’s navigation technology and maps into Bosch ADAS.
Among the promising outputs of this collaboration can be mentioned the development of applications such as intelligent cruise control, upcoming curve alerts, and jam tail warnings. TomTom’s smart map making technology will enable Bosch to create more accurate Advanced Driving Applications with near real-time information. In turn, this will lead to enhance the driver’s safety.
TomTom and Bosch have published a video (below) in which they explain how merging their knowledge of the car, and the road, they are contributing to paving the way towards highly automated driving.
