Following the submission in March 2017 of different cities to host the ITS World Congress 2021, the ERTICO – ITS Europe Supervisory Board indicated the City of Hamburg as “preferred choice” candidate to host the ITS World Congress in 2021.
The Supervisory Board voted in favour of Hamburg as preferred choice on Tuesday on the recommendation of the European Selection Committee which reviewed all the submissions. Now the final negotiation process with the City of Hamburg will start, and, if successful, will lead to the final selection.
Thereafter, the official communication on the selected City hosting the ITS World Congress 2021 will be done.
