The supervisor of Hamburg’s traffic industry has approved a new shuttle-on-demand service, MOIA. Based on ride pooling, several people who are travelling to the same destination can share a vehicle. The shuttle service is a new means of transport that will be launched from January 1, 2019 and will complement public transport in an environmentally friendly way, thanks to the use of electric vehicles. An approval for travelling in rental cars has also been issued.
