ERTICO is thrilled to announce that the City of Lamia has joined its Partnership. Located in central Greece, the city is home to approximately 70,000 people. Lamia has an ambitious plan to transform its transport network and become a model for sustainable urban mobility. This new collaboration opens ERTICO’s network to another important player in the Public Authorities.

Lamia City, capital of Sterea Ellada Region is located in central Greece and provides public services for around 110 hundred inhabitants people in the fields of environment, transportation, city planning, water and waste management, infrastructure and road maintenance amongst many other cross-sector activities.

The City of Lamia in Greece has been actively pursuing sustainable transport and urban mobility initiatives in recent years. These efforts has been aimed at reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality, and promoting active modes of transport such as cycling and walking.

The partnership between ERTICO ITS Europe and the City of Lamia demonstrates the benefits of collaboration between public and private sector organizations in achieving sustainable transport solutions. By working together, ERTICO ITS Europe and the City of Lamia will able to leverage the respective expertise and resources to create innovative and effective transport solutions that benefit residents, businesses, and the environment.
