Croatian Post, the national postal service in Croatia, has launched a tender for 180 electric bicycles to replace its conventionally fuelled scooters.

The tender comes as part of its involvement in the PRO-E-BIKE project during which Croatian Post took part in a pilot scheme to see whether electric bikes could replace scooters in deliveries for the past six months.

The new bikes should be delivered in autumn this year and begin operation in early 2016.
