Cities Today has released its Mobility in Europe special report, which includes an interview to ERTICO’s CEO Hermann Meyer. Mr. Meyer focuses on how investent in new transport technologies can turn cities into better and more sustainable places where to live.

ERTICO has been a long-standing supporter of city sustainability. Thanks to the “ITS for Urban Mobility” initiative, cities and industry players have been broght toghether to discuss cities’ mobility needs. Moreover, early this year, ERTICO has launched six core programmes, one of those fully dedicated to urban mobility.

As part of this new strategy, the ERTICO Partnership has opened its doors to cities. Vigo (Spain) and Northampton (UK) are two examples of cities that have joined the partnership due to their will to improve their urban transport networks by deploying ITS.
