Ahead of the 2013 European ITS Congress in Dublin the application process is now open for entities which are interested in demonstrating their Intelligent Transport Systems and Solutions.
At this stage there are no limits on the number of external demonstration sites instead all applications will be reviewed and every endeavour will be made to accommodate qualifying demonstrations at a suitable location in the vicinity of the Congress venue.

The slogan for the ITS 2013 Congress in Dublin is “ITS: Real Solutions for Real Needs” as regions face similar challenges in delivering sustainable transport solutions to meet their current and future mobility requirements.
However transport authorities often find it difficult to identify detailed information on targeted ITS solutions that would deliver direct and tangible positive outcomes.
That is why the ITS 2013 Congress will primarily focus on ITS solutions that are driven by policy as opposed to being technology-led. The emphasis will be on proven deployed solutions and innovative R&D that is focused on solving real problems and delivering value for money in today’s challenging economic environment.
Priority will be given to demonstrations that focus on delivered ITS solutions (or those in advanced state of development) that address real mobility issues that regions/cities/towns/ authorities face on a day-to-day basis.
