The European Mobility Week (EMW) is a periodical campaign that aims to encourage citizens to use public transport, cycle and walk. It also stimulates European cities to promote sustainable modes of transport and to invest in the necessary infrastructures. The overarching goal is to promote sustainable mobility, improving quality of life and reducing pollution.

European Mobility Week 2014 will take place between 16 and 22 September. Its target is to re-evaluate the relationship between land use and quality of life. This year’s slogan “Our streets, our choice” encourages people across Europe to create the type of city that they want to live in.
