The JUPITER project is organising two training sessions on 8 June, in paralell to the ITS European Congress in Glasgow. Both sessions will focus on European Navigation Systems as true enablers of ITS applications. One of the tutorial is suited for ITS developers while the other aims to attract an audience of ITS Local Authorities and Officers.
The tutorials will provide an overview on the most relevant aspects of European GNSS – EGNSS technology.The focus will be on the new European satellite navigation system Galileo, on the EGNOS augmentation system and on the impact of satellite navigation technology on the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) domain including its evolution.
The lectures will be provided by GNSS experts from some of the most relevant competence centres on GNSS technology in Europe.
