eCall Workshop

The eCall workshop event, organised by ERTICO-ITS Europe on Wednesday 11th October in Kranj, Slovenia.
The workshop builds up on the eCall TESTFEST event, held aims at presenting the status of the eCall deployment including the situation with the type approval, the conformity assessment and eCall over Satellite Communication. The workshop is an opportunity for stakeholders from the safety and transport sectors, as well as for students, to understand the principles of eCall from the technological and deployment point of view. eCall and testing experts will also present how interoperability ids handled as well as the role of the TESTFEST event. Finally, the evolutions of eCall towards Next Generation eCall in the future will be presented.
The workshop will be concluded by a visit of the TESTFEST event providing the opportunity to meet eCall system developers and testing experts.

- Opening session: Welcome, Keynote
- Session 1: Pan EU eCall deployment “status”
- Session 2: NG112 – eCall
- Session 3: Interoperability
- Visit of the TESTFEST room
