In the framework of the IEEE-International Electric Vehicle Conference 2014 that will be held in Florence on 19 December 2014 FABRIC is organising a Workshop entitled: “Europe meets IEVC”.

In the recent years electromobility has been receiving increasing support from governments and large vehicle manufacturers and OEMs in the form of large funding schemes for research and development and the introduction to the market of fully electric vehicles respectively, in an effort to shift globally towards a cleaner and more sustainable form of transport. The basic scope of this Workshop is to create a forum where key stakeholders will have the opportunity to present state of the art developments in EC funded and national projects towards a wide deployment of electromobility in Europe, identify trends and roadblocks and possibly draft a roadmap towards the large scale implementation of electromobility.
