Transport for London’s Traffic Directorate (TD) has the responsibility of ‘Keeping London Moving’.

This is achieved by making sure that traffic operates quickly and efficiently, while maximising technology opportunities. The directorate has recently begun to focus on co-operative networks and sees potential in these technologies to bring benefits to traffic control and users of its network, whilst representing a potential commercial opportunity to private technology suppliers, automotive manufacturers and service providers.

At this Industry Engagement Briefing event, the TD will present its reasoning behind a co-operative network and welcomes input around the key areas of reducing ongoing infrastructure costs whilst increasing data granularity availability in real time.
