FIA Region I has launched its first “Start-up Challenge”, to connect mobility Clubs with innovative start-ups.
Mobility Clubs offer a wide range of assistance services, putting member communities at the centre of their preoccupations. They are fully committed to developing the most user-centric value propositions on the market, something that should resonate with start-ups. Start-ups in turn need markets to test their ideas, and can benefit from the expertise of Mobility Clubs and their pool of millions of members.
FIA Region I President, Thomas Møller Thomsen, said: “We are delighted to reach out to start-ups to collect new ideas. Mobility Clubs want to remain a trusted partner for their loyal members in years to come and help them navigate an increasingly digital world. External talent will be key to make value propositions to customers”.
Start-ups can submit business ideas in the field of “mobility in rural areas”, “home and personal assistance”, “health and elderly assistance”, or any other idea that fits Mobility Club’s identities under a “star category”. They are invited to do so by 31 May 2019. Entrants need to have at least a proof of concept or a minimum viable product, and have a full-time CEO and CTO or equivalent (i.e. a ‘business’ person and a ‘technology’ person). Throughout 2019 they will benefit from numerous opportunities to pitch their ideas to Clubs’ experts and decision-makers.
Supporting partners include Mov’eo for the mobility in rural areas category, as well as FundingBox and IMPACT Connected Car for the star category.
