On September 21& 22, 2017, the InterCor project was presented at the Connecting Europe conference in Tallinn, Estonia, hosted by the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and co-organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport.

At the InterCor stand, ERTICO and Rijkswaterstaat representatives presented the objectives of the project and the first successful TestFest for the harmonisation of a number of ITS services. It was a successful trip as we met transport projects from across the EU and exchanged experiences, best practices and knowledge. We also had the opportunity to meet the influential Dutch MEP Wim van de Camp – a Member of the European Parliament’s Transport and Tourism Committee – and representations of INEA.

The event was attended by more than 1000 participants and addressed policy actions and financing solutions to invest in the transport sector with the perspective of the post-2020 EU financial framework. Nearly 60 project beneficiaries and funding bodies showcased EU transport projects financed from CEF, TEN-T and related EU funding programmes that contribute to European transport infrastructure development.
