Coordinated by ERTICO, the metaCCAZE project is driving the transition toward green and connected urban mobility, supporting the European Union’s Green Deal and the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Mission. As the project enters its second year, metaCCAZE is inviting European cities to take an active part in its transformative journey through its Observer Cities Open Call.

metaCCAZE empowers cities to achieve their climate-neutral goals by integrating cutting-edge solutions in electric, automated, and connected mobility. The 44 project partners are testing innovative technologies in Amsterdam, Munich, Tampere and Limassol, aiming to achieve net-zero transportation by 2030. The metaCCAZE Observer Cities will play a vital role in achieving the metaCCAZE vision to transform urban mobility.

By becoming a metaCCAZE Observer City, cities will receive funding to:

  • Access Exclusive Opportunities: Participate in workshops, live demonstrations, and study visits to explore innovations like AI-powered traffic management, autonomous vehicles, and smart logistics hubs.
  • Develop Tailored Implementation Plans: Collaborate with experts to create implementation strategies that align with your city’s unique needs for effective deployment.
  • Collaborate with Leading Cities: Learn from the real-world experiences of the metaCCAZE Trailblazer and Follower Cities, and exchange insights to enhance your local mobility networks.
  • Enhance Your City’s Profile: Position your city as a leader in sustainable urban transport, attracting investments and future opportunities.
