The fifth ITS e-learning on-site training programme will take place in Athens, Greece on 19 December 2018, as part of the 4th ITS Hellas Conference organised by ITS Hellas, the Greek association for the deployment of intelligent transport systems.

The ITS and C-ITS  training programme will be offered as a workshop within the conference on 18 December from 13:45 to 17:00, and will feature interpretation in Greek and English. It follows up on previous face-to-face training events in Italy, Finland, Croatia and Great Britain held by the CAPITAL project.

The CAPITAL workshop will be part of the 4th ITS Hellas Conference, which will take place on 18-19 December under the theme “Intelligent Transport Systems in Greece: Latest developments” at the Hellenic Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in Athens (Anastaseos 2 & Tsigante, GR-15669 Papagos, Greece). The workshop will include an overview of the project, the training platform and good practices on ITS from Greek municipalities, as well as an interactive training session on ITS deployment. The session will then conclude with a technical visit to the Traffic Management Centre of the Attikes Diadromes S.A.

Public and private stakeholders can learn more about the training and education activities undertaken by the CAPITAL Online Training Platform, which aims to assist professionals in the deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems.

Participants to the training session can look forward to receiving targeted information, an exchange of views and experiences on problems and requirements, data on the choice of appropriate solutions for ITS deployment, as well as networking opportunities with peers and technical experts.

Alongside the Conference, an open exhibition will show the latest national technological developments and innovations in the area of ITS, presented through a range of posters and demonstrations.
