The city of Marseille’s public transport operator, Régie des Transports de Marseille (RTM), earlier this month inaugurated the first bus line in France to run only on electricity.
The city bought six buses from Spanish bus manufacturer Irizar for € 2.5 million
The six buses began serving Marseille’s iconic 82 line, which runs between la Canebière and Euromed (stopping at the headquarters of MPM and the Métropole, the Old Port, MuCEM and the new business district of Euroméditerranée).
