More than 100 stakeholders and mobility experts gathered at the Lisbon Congress Center on Friday 19 September where the next ITS European Congress will take place from 18-20 May 2020 under the theme ITS: The Game Changer.
The open day was aimed at potential and current partners and exhibitors, and included a lively panel discussion themed ITS – Changing the Game for mobility solutions. The session was organised by the Association for the Development of Mobility and Sustainable Transport and included speakers from BRISA, CeiiA, Deloitte, EFACEC and Siemens. The panel touched on a broad range of topics including the need for the evolution of ITS systems, changing the game from pilots to deployments, turning disruptions into opportunities, sustainable mobility options as well as the need for the change of consumer habits and expectations. The session was followed by a presentation of the Congress and a tour of the Lisbon Congress Center. The open day also gave stakeholders the opportunity to meet with representatives from the organiser of the Congress, ERTICO – ITS Europe, and the Host, ITS Portugal.
The ITS European Congress will take place from 18 to 20 May 2020 and will be a unique opportunity to connect with leading European mobility experts and meet new potential technological and business partners, share insights on mobility solutions and help shape the discussion on how to leverage innovative transport and mobility solutions to improve the quality of life in our cities.
