TM 2.0 has been making waves at the 11th ITS European Congress in Glasgow from start to finish. From presenting the technical papers of task force findings through holding a general assembly to a full-house session.

Below you will find a short summary of the PR02 session held on 7 June, Tuesday afternoon.

After a short introduction from Johanna Tzanidaki, co-chair of the platform (see presentation here), Karl Rehrl  took the stage and gave a perspective on the importance of a traffic management platform and the win-win situation few TM 2.0 from the point of view of Salzburg (presentation available here).

Unfortunately, Evangelos Mitsakis could not attend the Congress, however  Ms Tzanidaki gave a short overview of the case in Thessaloniki (see the presentation here).

The platform has been closely co-operating with TISA, and Stephanie Chaufton, co-ordinator of the association gave a short overview of the possible interactions, and common sue cases for further work (see her presentation here).

Finally, Pedro Barradas, Policy Officer from the European Commission DG MOVE provided the perspective of the EC and where TM 2.0 fits into the plans and approaches defined. Have a look at the presentation here.
