More than 70 people from domestic industry players, international car manufacturers and governmental institutions attended the Tyre Seminar organized by Applus IDIADA, together with SAE International Malaysia, JPJ (Malaysian Road Transport Department), Proton and Michelin.
During the first day of the seminar, held in the JPJ IT Cyberjaya facilities, Dr. David Gallegos, Product Manager for tyre homologation & certification at Applus IDIADA, presented four technical papers about the main topic of the seminar: “The way forward of tyre industry in Malaysia, from the perspective of automotive engineering”. On the second day, the participants had the chance to attend a demonstration test that was held on Proton Test Track.
