The Republic of Tatarstan has recently announced the launch of its first autonomous ride-hailing taxi in Europe. Tests have been conducted in the technology park set in the tech-focused city of Innopolis, and foresee to initially operate two free test drives to certain destinations, with cabins that can accommodate up to three passengers. This is a very important step for the Republic of Tatarstan, which is on full speed to implement ITS solutions nation-wide.
