This year’s ERTICO Start-up Initiative 2020 adds a new, international flavour to the competition. Together with ITS America and ITS Asia-Pacific, ERTICO- ITS Europe and its Partnership will grant four lucky start-ups the unique chance to travel to two ITS Congresses as well as the opportunity to Connect, Innovate and Grow with ERTICO’s 120+ Partners.
The process will begin with the selection of five finalists, who will be invited to pitch at the annual ERTICO Think Tank in September, where three prize winners will be announced.
For the first prize, the winner will be selected by the ERTICO Partnership before the Think Tank and will win the opportunity to attend the ITS World Congress from 4 to 8 October 2020 in Los Angeles.
Together with the winner of the ERTICO Start-up Initiative in 2019, Brighter AI, this start-up will represent Europe and compete against two American and two Asia-Pacific start-ups in the Global Innovation Competition, hosted by ITS America, ERTICO, and ITS Asia-Pacific. At the Congress, a U.S. and a global winner will be selected to receive a prize of $20,000 USD in cash, an extensive marketing package and a wide range of networking opportunities with leaders in the ITS industry, as well as the possibility to attend ITS Asia-Pacific, ERTICO, and ITS America Annual Meetings in 2021.
All three selected start-ups at the ERTICO Think Tank event will win the second prize, which consists in exhibiting and profiling themselves at the next year’s ITS World Congress in Hamburg, Germany, taking place from 11 to 15 October 2021.
And of course, the ERTICO Start-up Initiative will continue to connect, innovate and make start-ups grow with the support of the ERTICO Partnership.
