For the first time, ERTICO, the region of Central Macedonia and ERTICO Partner Thessaloniki are co-organising a panel discussion with 50 Mayors from the region. ‘Mobility in Central Macedonia: Innovation Priorities and Impact’ will take place online on 30 October 2020.
This event is part of ERTICO’s on-going strategy to enhance awareness among public authorities on innovation and its benefits in the area of sustainable and smart urban mobility. It is also an important step forward to encourage further collaboration between public authorities in the region.
Opening the event will be Apostolos Tzitzikostas, President of the European Committee of the Regions; Konstantinos Gioutikas, from the Region of Central Macedonia; Konstantinos Zervas, Mayor of Thessaloniki, as well as Kostis Hatzidakis, Minister for the Environment and Energy and Kostas Karamanlis Minister of Infrastructure and Transport. ERTICO’s Chairman Dr Angelos Amditis will present and moderate the resulting panel discussion.
This invitation-only event will be attended by 50 Mayors of the Central Macedonia Region and representatives of government institutions and selected mobility stakeholders including from CERTH and e-Trikala.
