The EU research project FOT-Net Data is organising a stakeholder meeting on sharing and re-use of available FOT (Field Operational Tests) data. Sharing collected valuable datasets from the recent years will yield further research results, create new collaborative options, generate financial and time savings in transport research and contribute to market introduction of improved vehicle ICT.
The upcoming meeting on Data Sharing Activities will take place in Brussels on 8 March 2016. Participation is free but registration is compulsory.
In this stakeholder meeting speakers will highlight the current opportunities for all parties involved in Field Operational Tests and interested in sharing or re-using data. FOT-Net Data supports data sharing, both in existing projects and new Horizon 2020 projects.
The meeting will focus on:
- FOT-Net Data Data Sharing Platform and Data Catalogue
- Practices and initiatives in data sharing in the US and Europe
- Data sharing aspects related to the upcoming pilots on vehicle automation
