Standardisation Expert to contribute to the standardisation activities within our international team
The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Monitor and support ITS standardisation activities
• Contribute to standardization groups and related activities (ISO, ETSI and CEN)
• Contribute to the existing ERTICO activities related to standardisation
• Develop new activities, including project proposals, in relationship with standardisation and beyond
• Support the communication to ensure the visibility of ERTICO on standardisation activities:
- Write related news and articles
- Give presentations at conferences, congresses and workshops
- Report to stakeholders groups
• Plan and monitor the activities as well as match the expected deadlines with highest quality of results
The successful candidate will have:
• ICT or Electronic Engineering MSc/PhD degree with minimum 5 years of experience in ITS engineering, with knowledge on:
- Mobile and IP based Telecommunications: 2G/3G/4G, VoIP
- Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)
- ITS communications protocols from CEN/ETSI/ISO and standardisation activities
- Knowledge in telecommunication testing methodologies is an asset
• Experience with project development is a must
• Prior experience with international standardisation is a must
• EC project administration and technical coordination is an asset
• Excellent English written and oral skills; knowledge of one or more other European language is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools, Project Management Tools and EC Reporting Tools
• Be efficient, flexible and service minded
• Be a team player and able to work autonomously
• Be prepared to travel on international assignments
• Be enthusiastic and positive
