Cubic Transportation Systems, a leading integrator of information technology and payment systems and services for intelligent travel solutions, will exhibit its NextCity suite of interlocking platforms for fare collection, tolling, traffic signal management, its broad range of products and services for urban mobility and more at APTA EXPO 2014 in Booth 1845, Oct. 13-15 at the George R. Based on a common, integrated and modern back office architecture, NextCity lets agencies select the exact components needed for their particular requirements, and the more of NextCity that is implemented in a region, the more the city benefits with improved management of urban mobility across all modes of transportation.
Over the last few years, Cubic Transportation Systems has rolled out a number of installations based on NextCity platforms, including the successful Opal smart card program in Sydney and two of the world’s largest account-based transit payments systems in the world: Ventra in Chicago which has been in operation since 2013, and the account-based system in London for which Cubic completed launch across the entire transport network in September.
Cubic’s 2014 EXPO exhibit highlights include:
• Account-based and open fare payments systems and services

• Live video ticketing kiosks with NextAgent
• Video analytics information and management systems featuring SenSen Networks technology
