From 30 June to 2 July, the ADASIS Forum held its General Assembly and Working Group meeting at TomTom headquarter in Amsterdam. Since last year, 7 new members joined, the last one being Harman/Becker. The defacto standard specifications V2.0 proposed by the Forum are now used in many vehicles enabling Driver Assistance Systems to anticipate the road ahead based on map data and vehicle position.

The first applications were the map-based predictive powertrain control system for trucks resulting in about 5% reduction of fuel consumption.

Currently the Forum is working on new features required for automated driving as well as on interoperability aspects.
