The Greek Association of Supply Chain Management organised the annual 21st Panhellenic Logistics Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece on 24-25 November, 2017.
Acknowledging the vital role of technology in the development of sustainable supply chains, the subject of the Conference was “Digital Supply Chains”. Distinguished speakers, experts and professionals, company executives, and representatives of public utilities and organizations from Greece and abroad were in attendance, and exchanged best practices, knowledge, ideas and concerns about Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
On this occasion, AEOLIX project coordinator Lina Konstantinopoulou (ERTICO – ITS Europe) presented the AEOLIX project and shared her view of the future in logistics and supply chain management for Europe, and presented the ERTICO programme on transport and logistics.
Ms Konstantinopoulou was also invited to give an interview to the Greek Magazine Logistics & Management while attending the 21st Panhellenic Logistics Conference, dedicating part of the article to Greek ERTICO partners CERTH and ICCS and their activities on the topic. ICCS takes part in European research projects CO-GISTICS and AEOLIX in Thessaloniki, and supports the Port of the Future initiative in Piraeus.
