The deadline for interested parties to participate in External Demonstrations at the 2013 European ITS Congress has been extended until the 1 March
If you are interested in demonstrating Intelligent Transport Systems and Solutions we will endeavour to accommodate all qualifying demonstrations at a suitable location in the vicinity of the Congress venue. For more information on the call for demonstrations click here.
The slogan for the ITS 2013 Congress in Dublin is “ITS: Real Solutions for Real Needs”. All regions face similar challenges in delivering sustainable transport solutions to meet their current and future mobility requirements.
Transport authorities are aware of the real needs specific to their region but often find it difficult to identify detailed information on targeted ITS solutions that would deliver direct and tangible positive outcomes.
The ITS 2013 Congress will primarily focus on ITS solutions that are driven by policy as opposed to being technology-led. The emphasis will be on proven deployed solutions and innovative R&D that is focused on solving real problems and delivering value for money in today’s challenging economic environment.
Priority will be given to demonstrations that focus on delivered ITS solutions (or those in advanced state of development) that address real mobility issues that regions/cities/towns/ authorities face on a day-to-day basis.
